Abstract:

This document is the "Requirement Specification V2" report of the Sub-Project 6 (SP6) within the SANY Project. This deliverable is "D6.1.1.3 SP6 Requirements Specifications" with reference to Contract n° 033564. This document only addresses the geo-hazard specific domain. Other application domains such as marine and air pollution will be treated in other similar documents.

The purpose of this document is to define user requirements for the geo-hazard application pilot. This document covers requirements from sensor and sensor network architecture until decision-making processes.
The possibility to derive and/or use generic processes for data access, data fusion and to integrate existing standards and tools has to be considered when listing the requirements. The existing/potential commercial value of the application or its existing/potential value for policy support will also be presented.
This document will also serve as a basis for the technology Sub-projects SP2/SP3 to derive the technical requirements for SANY architecture and system.
